Recipe to try ……. Lemon Blueberry Bars

This was given to me at the airport by a very nice lady also waiting for a flight. It was folded up in her pocket book and you could tell that she has had it for a very long time.
I’m going to try to make these this weekend or maybe next if unpacked by then.

Lemon Blueberry Bars

2 cups flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
pinch salt
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup flour
2 cups fresh blueberries
1/4 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
powdered sugar

Directions:
In a food processor, combine flour, sugar, lemon zest, and salt pulse.

Whisk together egg and vanilla and add through processor tube.

Press evenly into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan and bake at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden.
