I decided that if I want to complain about something, I will wait until I write my “Ticked off on Tuesday” post. So here we go……..
Today’s Post is “Nosy Neighbors that need to mind their own business”.
Don’t worry about the grass down the street
Don’t worry about the dogs down the street
Don’t worry about people parking their cars IN THEIR OWN DRIVEWAY
Don’t worry about people doing LEGAL things in their home.
Don’t worry about the sprinklers getting the sidewalk wet
Don’t worry about the car in front the mailbox sitting there reading their mail for a long time. They will move sooner or later.
Don’t worry about the kids that stepped on your grass.
Don’t worry about the boat parked in someones driveway for a week getting winterized.
Don’t worry about someone not using their garage for their cars instead parking in the driveway. (their Right to do so)
The reason for this post? As most of you know, I don’t agree with social media because what it is doing to people. But… but…..but this post about something called neighbor hood something. It is a place where people in your neighbor hood talk.This post isn’t about my neighbors but my very very good friend’s neighbor hood. I told her to move after reading.
Let me tell you something, those people did nothing but complain about all the neighbors. You could see addresses and full names etc . You could see your next door neighbor complaining about YOU. I felt so bad for them.
But do you know what was even worse? They never complained about the brats ringing doorbells at 2 or 3 AM. When someone brought it up…. it was “oh leave them alone, they aren’t hurting anyone”. Then someone spoke up and said ” I have a new born baby, then someone said ” my husband is very ill” and it kept going. Then so many spoke up again and said “leave the kids alone”, “it’s harmless” etc etc.
Then they started complaining about a boat that was was getting worked on and winterized for storage. If anyone has a boat, you know that it has to be “loaded” and then “unloaded” the beginning of the season and the end. Then you need to winterize, then take to storage. These people couldn’t wait for 4 days. They even called the police station about it. What the heck?
They complained because when someone had their sprinklers on, water got the sidewalk wet. What?
Then they complained about a neighborhood party that asked them to take your young children home because it was not a party for children. They complained and said that their children are allowed ANYWHERE.
Then it looks like their was a lady watering her grass until about 10 PM . She kept moving the sprinkler so that it doesn’t make puddles and it watered her front, side and back yard. The water got into the street for many hours because of having to water the grass on the boulevard. Well the water runs down to these huge long sewer thingies. But because she watered so long the water kept going of course and it went around the corner. The man jumped on this “site thing” and was complaining that her water ran in front of his house and that his wife’s shoes would get wet getting into the car parked on the street. What? Water from a small sprinkler. He posted a picture that the stream of water was about 3 INCHES WIDE running all the way down the street NEXT to the CURB. These people are nuts.
Then they complained because the neighbor was not cutting their grass twice a week. What? You cut when the grass needs it. It could be once a week, twice or three times a week or every OTHER week. Shut the heck up at least they are cutting, it could be worse.
They got mad because someone was parking in their own driveway instead of parking in their garage. What? How dare they tell them where to park. It’s their driveway and their home, shut the hell up and park where you want to park at your own home. Leave everyone else alone. (He posted pictures like most do. ) By law he can park as many cars as he wants in his drive as long as they don’t hang over the sidewalk. They can even park in front of the house as long as parking is allowed and they are NOT blocking a mailbox.
I had to stop reading and give her back her iPad because I was getting so worked up. My family thought I was going to have a heart attack reading this crap.
With the world going to hell, these people have turned into NUTS.
There are murders, robberies, car jacking, assaults, elder abuse, and just plain old RUDE people and these people think that these are problems worth complaining about. Now you can see what the REAL problem is. Neighbors like this is the problem.
My last thoughts on this…..
Until you make my mortgage payment…. don’t ever try telling me what to do with my own home. Ok, you can TRY but be prepared for me to stand up for myself and NOT be one to be pushed around.
Now on that thought, I hope that everyone has a wonderful day and stand up for yourself when you are being bullied.
