Time to fill up the freezers for the winter. Nothing like having to stop at the store for something for dinner.
“He” insisted that I needed another one so he came home with it on Friday. I have an industrial size freezer in garage outside the kitchen door. It is out there with a side by side fridge. Now I have this new freezer out there too. But it is only until we push out the wall in utility room and then all the freezers etc will be inside off the kitchen . Any way…..here is my new freezer. She is small but she ‘s cute isn’t she? See ?

Ok lets get this thing plugged in…. Oops, have to find a place for it first. I guess it can’t stay here. (smile)
Here are a few things I put in the freezer to “firm up”. It is so much easier to cut when a little firm.
Have double this amount in kitchen because I will start cutting and bagging right away.
Whole New York strips (need to slice and bag up)
Whole sirloin ( cut into different cuts for diferent meals)
2- 10 pound rolls of sirloin ( bag for spag, chili, meatballs, taco meat, burgers, etc)
4 pork butts ( bag individual bags)
2- 10 boxes of bacon ( bag for large cooking spree or just single breakfast)
I have to freeze some of this because I don’t want it to go bad by the time it is all sliced and bagged.
UPDATE…….
I have made posts of the sliced and bagged meat. He keeps coming home with these fantastic deals.
NO I do not get paid for this post
