So this year I was TOLD by a 7 or 8 year old WHAT HE WANTED FOR HIS TREAT !! He explained he can’t have chocolate, fruit flavored candy, hard candy, caramel, peanuts but could have almonds, nothing sticky, ntohing too hard…… I stopped him right there.
I calmly explained to his nice demanding child that it was a Holiday for ALL children tonight. I told him that I would be right back because I was goiing in the house to get his treat. He asked what it was….. I told him all I had left for him was left over liver from dinner. NO, I am not cruel, what happened to being thankful for any kind of candy and giving it away to someone else? His mother would have been smarter to go stock up with bags of candy that he CAN eat and have him give away all that was collected.
Oh and to the lady that screamed and yelled at my husband for wearing a mask while in costume…..
This was NOT Valentines Day… it was Halloween !!!!!
Yes, she yelled and screamed that it might scare children. We were both sitting on the pourch with bowls of candy talking etc. We weren’t hiding , we were under four bright lights.
