This is “His” last night cooking (thank goodness, I’m tired)

I asked “Him” what he was making for dinner on his “final” night.  He is making ribs….I will post the finished product. LOL

Here is the UPDATE …….

It’s no wonder he thinks that cooking dinner isn’t a “big deal”.  I do everything for him *laugh*.

I am so glad this is “his” final day cooking becuase I am so tired.  I feel better when I have cook Thanksgiving Dinner for 10 guests, all by myself . I can’t wait to get back to normal.

This is how it went…..

I took the ribs out of the freezer.

I found the large platter that would hold three slabs of ribs (side by side).

I made up the dry seasoning and put it in a bowl for easy pinching and sprinkling.

I made up the BBQ sauce, but it in a bowl with a handle, found the long brush, and covered with foil so no buggies go swiming while he is using it.

I strung the ribs on the rotisserie ( They wouldn’t bend because they were too thick… please don’t laugh, I’ll have a melt down lol Try holding two slabs while trying to string the third. Really if you laugh, I will cry lol)

I seasoned them.

HE took them out with for me and attached to the motor.

I started the grill.

I watched them.

I put he sauce on.

I baked the spaghetti squash.

I made the homemade rice pilaf

HE help take the rotisserie to grill and attach to motor

He found the electric cord for rotisserie motor

He removed the cast iron grill pates

He carried in the platter holding the ribs

He was so proud of himself, and so was I.

Oh my I’m getting so hungry. *hands on hips* OK…. who just laughed? I asked you nicely NOT to laugh at them.

They really are ugly aren’t they?

The meat on these babies fell off the bones.

Served with Spaghetti Squash, rice, and potato salad.

Here is a picture of the spaghetti squash cut in half, turned upside down on a foil covered baking sheet.

Bake for about 45 mins to an hour.

Use a fork and scrape the squash turning it into little strans of yumminess.

Place in a bowl with gobs of butter and salt and pepper. Yum! (And it’s Low Carb too)

The bowls and  the platters were empty within minutes.

Here is a picture I snapped while someone had their back turned ( grabbing either the fruit or muffins)

Have a Wonderful 4th of July !!
