Some of these roaster problems were after just ONE use. Yes I am very careful and I have been cooking for almost 60 years. I know how to take care of items, I think they are poorly put together.
I have bragged so many times about loving my roasters and then I look at the bottom after removing turkey or ham and I find that the coating is off.
Yesterday I tried cooking a basic corned beef and cabbage and it wouldn’t get to 300 degrees. I even turned it up to 450 degrees and it never even steamed.
I had to put the food into a large roasting pan and cook it in the oven.
We just went back and counted the roasters…
SEVEN roasters……. in NINE years.
My mother had her roaster my whole childhood and she used it almost weekly. It was white on a white stand. Does anyone know what I’m talking about?
