Pancakes for the freezer. We have Blueberry, Banana-Nut and Plain.

It is so much easier to wake up in the morning and ask what they want for breakfast when the freezer is full of a variety of foods.

There is also a choice of meat (bacon, sausage, ham, turkey bacon).

Served along with a variety of beverages ( coffee, juice, milk, tea etc)

They aren’t huge, because you don’t need to be stuffed just fed…. LOL

Mom’s Pancakes

Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

3 ½ teaspoons baking powder

1 tablespoon white sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 ¼ cups milk

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 large egg

Directions

  1. Gather all ingredients before starting

  2. Stir the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt together in a large bowl. Make a well in the center and add milk, melted butter, and the egg. Mix until it’s smooth.

  3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake; cook until bubbles form and the edges are dry, about 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. Flip and cook until browned on the other side. Place on a platter or plate to serve or to cool for the freezer.Repeat with the remaining batter.

  5. Serve and enjoy!

If you are making flavored pancakes make the plain first …then add blueberries or a smashed banana to the mix.
