I know, I know…. you aren’t getting into this sandwich. I just LOVE it but please don’t call braunschweiger the same as liverwurst.
I have this once every couple years because I burn myself out when I do buy it. ( honestly it is because most places give you the braunschweiger just like this place did when “he” brought it home. He didn’t know, he was trying to do something nice for me.)
I normally serve it on an onion roll slathered with MIRACLE WHIP and a cold glass of milk.
This sandwich is on a roll with lettuce and it was not good but it took care of the craving i had, plus I am so busy today.
