I Must Have a Trick Mirror

I must have a trick mirror.

Good Morning
Have you every walked by your bathroom mirror and got scared to death because you thought someone else was in the room with you? It happened to me this morning.
There was a figure walking the same direction that I was. The figure was wearing the same clothes, her hair was a mess like mine, but there was one problem….. We didn’t weigh the same. I’m SURE that I was about 40 pounds lighter than this person.

I’m sure when I put my glasses on (where did I put them)  I will see that I’m much thinner than this person.

I jumped on the scale (which is always in the same spot, never moved on single inch) and I was shocked when it showed an increase.

So I waddled… I mean that I “walked” to the kitchen for my coffee, and told my husband that “he needs to replace the batteries in the scale”.  I explained to him that “the numbers are going crazy”. He said something about “it not having batteries”.   I told him “we need another scale because if it isn’t  the batteries, something is wrong”. He didn’t say a word because he knows better.
I’ve been looking for a scale for months and now I have to get one real soon. When it shows numbers that can’t possibly be true, I’ll find one soon.
Between that Trick Mirror, and the “broken scale that shows increased numbers”, I’m feeling really “fluffy” today.

While we were having coffee I asked my husband “if he thought I could have gained so much weight ?”.  He said “I look the same to him”. He said that “everyone puts on maybe one or two pounds over the winter”. He told me that “once I get outside and play with my garden, that I will feel better”.

He’s such a smart man, he stays married one more day.

Do you know what is so sweet about that? He really means it.

Looks like it’s only coffee this morning.

Well time to get things done. I hope you all have a wonderful day.
