I didn’t serve with rice for everyone because a couple of us are watching our carbs. I served just mine with Brussels sprouts because I was craving them. Yes, I said that I was craving them.

Rice for those not watching their carbs but also a choice of rice OR sweet potato.

 

I love buying the homemade sausage, brats and meat mixtures from the butcher. It tastes so much better than the processed stuff. Don’t get me wrong, there are days when I need and serve the processed stuff. One thing I’m not is a food snob. I served this two different ways .

 

Since starting this weight loss plan, my combinations of foods are “funny”.

These were pretty darn good I will buy them again and again and probably again. We got theme from Walmart in the freezer department ( Great Value Brand).

They were called “Hong Kong Blend”.

These are NOT for this recipe, They are for the bottom of the post but I wanted to let you know about them. They were pretty good but I didn’t like the idea of them being seasoned for me.
