This has been an EVERY year cookie for many years. I like to let all the little ones decorate these and even use the cookie press. They get to take them all home when they are done. this has been done for about 40 years or so.

Little hands helping OF COURSE (Just tell her that they are beautiful)

This has been an EVERY year cookie for many years.
Cream Cheese Spritz
8 ounces cream cheese, softened (I will ONLY use Philadelphia Brand Cream Cheese)
1 cup margarine
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups flour
Combine cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended. Add flour; mix well. Chill.
Press the cookie dough onto ungreased cookie sheets. Decorate and then Bake at 400 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes or until set and very lightly browned.
Yields 108.
