Today I am freezing a small “Meat Package” from the butcher, only 65 Pounds. Plus I picked up a case of Cod, a 10 lb roll of Ground Beef, and a case of Riblets.
The Riblets will always be on the BBQ along with the item for dinner. The reason that we do that is because of “drop-ins” that show up at dinner time. They will have something to munch on too. And if it ends up to be the family only, then I can warm these up the next day for someone’s lunch, someone will eat them. The Riblets are the item that disappears first from the grill.
So today there was enough Chicken, Pork and Beef to last for about 4-6 months. I believe that I will have enough to last until October because of all the other items that I have already put in the freezers.

I love my FoodSaver so much but she is dying. This is NOT my first FoodSaver and it won’t be my last. I want to try the 2 in 1 but I haven’t gotten around to doing any research yet.
