Recipe Tried and True Granny’s 4 Bean Salad

Great with any food from the grill and great to take to a BBQ.

 

when I make it……. I put some of this and some of that in dishes. I think I did okay with this.

 ———>>>    If it’s too dry…. make more dressing, if it looks like too much liquid then DON’T USE ALL OF IT.

 

Granny’s 4 Bean Salad ( She used fresh from her garden I added the garbanzo)

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

3 Tbs sugar

1 Tbs olive oil

1/8 salt and pepper

1 can (14 oz) cut green beans, drained

1 can (14 oz) garbanzo beans, drained

1 can (14 oz) dark red kidney beans, drained

1 can (14 oz yellow wax beans, drained

1/2 cup onion, minced

Combine vinegar, sugar, olive oil, salt & pepper. Mix well and pour over beans and onion. Cover and refrigerate  (overnight is the best)
