Holey Sha-moley……. its hot out here. Kielbasa, peppers, squash and potato foil packs

Heat index 115

Time for a cast iron skillet meal cooked on the camp fire or on portable Coleman grill.

I did it a little different this time *shock shock*.

I cooked the sausage first then put everything in the foil.

very easy clean up and lots of time for play!!

This was FRESH Polish Kielbasa . It was fantastic. We have made our own and it turned out great but we wanted to try this new deli. FANTASTIC and they make homemade perogies too. YUMMY

I let the peppers and onions cook for a few minutes in the foil and then added the sausage, yellow squash and potatoes. The potatoes got a little dark this time but they were great.

Don’t laugh…. when you’re having fun with family and friends (or friends that you consider family)… you really don’t pay attention.

NINE foil packets and most looked like these. You DO NOT want to see number TEN. (good grief…there was no saving that one …smile).
