I love a meal that you can throw together in one pan and walk away from it. This was supposed to be a crock pot recipe but I DO NOT like putting meat into a crockpot without browning it first. So the next best thing is putting in in a pot on the stove. Same thing as long as you are at home WATCHING it. Never leave things cooking.<\/p>\n

trimming the meat was probably what took the longest LOL.<\/p>\n

Browning the meat. Yes it was as hot as it looks LOL. Those hot bubbles really hurt, yes I know for a fact.<\/p>\n

Okay, both batches of meat are all dark brown with flavor.<\/p>\n

I added the liquids to simmer and get nice and tender.<\/p>\n

Then I put the lid on my Lodge pan and let it cook slowly. Now I have to go clean up the mess I made LOL.<\/p>\n

Fresh broccoli is cleaned and cut.<\/p>\n

The brown rice is measured out.<\/p>\n

after about 1-1\/2 hours or two (meat getting tender). I put the broccoli in the pan and made the brown rice.<\/p>\n

Okay, it’s time for dinner.<\/p>\n

One didn’t want the rice so that is why her bowl\/plate has it on the side, just in case.<\/em><\/p>\n
